Check the hotel exterior, entrance and reception!
A high-rise hotel is built along Victoria Harbor.
The entrance is full glass, and it is an open structure that allows light to shine through from the outside. There is always a doorman standing to guide you.
The ceiling is high and spacious in the lobby. Depending on the check-in time, it was necessary to wait in line.
There were countless chandeliers shining on the ceiling.
In addition to the reception desk, there is also a concierge desk and a corner where various information can be provided.
What is the Deluxe Harbor Room like?
If you check in, you will be taken to your room immediately! The door made of wood grain looked luxurious.
The room I stayed in this time was a Deluxe Harbor Room.
There is a king-size bed and a work desk by the window.
There is a TV, luggage rack and a glass-enclosed bathroom.
The bathroom was surrounded with glass and had a full view from the room.
It is very clean and has a bathroom, toilet and washbasin in one room.
The wash basin had a modern look made of marble.
The bathtub was separated from the washroom and was convenient, but it was a glass door, so I was a little worried that water will leak outside when taking a shower.
The structure of the shower head was distinctive, but the water pressure was strong enough.
You can pull the blinds down when using the bathroom.
There is shampoo/conditioner, body soap, lotion, toothbrush set, comb, shower cap and cotton prepared.
There was a cafe corner on the luggage stand of the room. The refrigerator was empty, but you can drink tea from a tea bag with an electric kettle, cups and glasses.
Closet and safe
Bathrobes, slippers and hangers were hanging in the closet next to the entrance.
There is a safe too, so you can store valuables in here.
Harbor view from the room
As the room had a harbor view, I could overlook Victoria Harbor from the window. The night view was very beautiful.
Buffet breakfast and restaurants
The Harbor Grand Café is a buffet style restaurant with a wide variety of international cuisine. They also serve lunch and dinner.
We had a buffet breakfast here.
The restaurant was very wide.
Bread and hot dishes are lined up.
There are also many salad dishes and meat dishes such as sausages and ham.
There was also a sushi bar, dairy products and desserts.
“Nagomi” is a restaurant that offers authentic Japanese cuisine in addition to sashimi, sushi and tempura.
Cocktails and high tea can be enjoyed at the Lobby Lounge.
Le 188 ° Restaurant & Lounge
Le 188 ° Restaurant & Lounge is located on the top floor, covered with glass windows that open to the ceiling, and offers a great view of the harbor.
The restaurant is very large and you can enjoy the night view with a window at 188°.
The bar counter is also fashionable.
It is a romantic space overlooking the night view while drinking. It is recommended for couples.
It is a 35-minute drive from Hong Kong International Airport and a 6-minute walk from Fortress Hill MTR Island Line. A bus stop operating between the airports was also nearby. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it is convenient. It is a 10-minute drive to the Star Road where the light and music Symphony of Lights takes place, and a 15-minute drive to the hillside escalator, which is said to be the longest in the world.
Staff and customer base
The staffs who responded were all kind and polite. I saw many groups such as families, couples and friends staying at the hotel.
I was located at the popular Hong Kong Island North Point, and I was worried about transportation because the hotel was a little far from the center. However, there were cafes and supermarkets in the area, and there was a MTR station just a short walk away, so it did not feel particularly inconvenient. The restaurant and facilities in the hotel are well-equipped, and the rooms are well-designed and managed nicely, so I could spend a very comfortable time. Victoria Harbor seen from the room was also beautiful. This hotel is the best choice to overlook the views of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
